 Preparing to apply for the new Bartol Teaching Artist Award? Join us for one of five applicant support sessions designed to help teaching artists navigate the application process, strengthen their materials, and feel confident submitting.

The Bartol Teaching Artist Award will provide 10 unrestricted grants of $2,500 to Philadelphia-based artists who offer consistent, accessible arts education that uplifts and benefits the communities they are in deep relationship with. This award is a direct investment in freelance and independent teaching artists—supporting those who design and implement meaningful programs for youth and adults across the city, and who sustain themselves as vital culture bearers, educators, and changemakers.

Whether you're new to Bartol, a long-time teaching artist, or somewhere in between, these sessions will offer guidance, clarity, and space to ask questions before submitting your application.
