Join us in exploring how integrating clowning and physical theater techniques can bring play, connection, and joy into your classroom. Through a series of hands-on exercises, this workshop will introduce teaching artists to new games and activities to help them build connection, trust, and collaboration with students of all ages.
Facilitator Marisol Rosa-Shapiro is a theater artist, educator, clown, and facilitator of performance-fueled spaces for people of all ages. As a member of Theater for Young Audience USA’s BIPOC in TYA Advisory Board as well as a board member for Cannonball and Clowns Without Borders USA, Marisol brings with her extensive experience serving as a leader in anti-racism and equity efforts.
